Some of the activities include massages, Yoga, meditation, singing, chanting,
movement to music, walking, swimming, paddle-boarding, kayaking, dancing, kite-
flying, fishing, storytelling… and many more.
Prepare to enjoy a lot of water activities, pleasantly getting in the welcoming tropical
waters of the Caribbean sea that gently caress the coastal zones of Belize, and the
various places you will be visiting during your Program.
We encourage you to spend time in the water, swimming,
floating, or snorkeling. Some of the sessions are conducted “in
the water” and some “unde da wata”, all excursions to the
beautiful coral reef are included, and fear not if you have never
snorkeled, or don’t even swim, you’ll be taken good care of and
you will be very comfortable at whatever level you may be.
Primarily, psychotherapy means that some of the interaction
with the professional counselor and the staff will be
individualized, and some will be conducted in groups. As much
as we can, we will be in the water… We are exercising without
even noticing it, learning and having fun, all at the same time, and some times we will
be eating and drinking while we do all of the above.
However, it will feel like a psycho-educational retreat that will motivate you to
develop and keep a true get-up & go! attitude. Attitude, which in time will become part
of your new “DNA”.
Walks along the beaches or sandy streets while discussing specific topics with peers
or Counselors will be a daily activity, which you will enjoy.
An hour-long massage every two to three days, followed by a deep sleeping session in
a hammock between two coconut palms will put you in the “zone” to help you …
fall in love with you again.
Activities…
This is not a weight-loss “boot-camp”
program where you will be subjected to
rigorous exercising and strenuous
activities; however, you will enjoy
activities in and
under the water,
having the
opportunity to
snorkel and
observe the
coral reef life
and fish
behavior,
perhaps fishing
from a peer,
kayaking, walking by the beach,
swimming; or simply floating on the
tranquil waters of the Caribbean sea,
savoring a Mojito, or two, during a group
session, while discussing issues and topics
that will transform your life forever.
You will have ample time to lose some
weight, and without even noticing or
feeling it, you’ll be trading a lot of pounds
for a lot of knowledge… Knowledge which
will keep that weight off for life!
